May 18, 200322 yr you are very dour at times kami, sheesh. I think its actually a pretty cool idea, i end up in that stupid my-target-moved-so-now-my-grenade-is-useless situation alot. If not that, than perhaps secondary would let us cook off the fuse or roll the grenade for for stealthy grenade kils

May 18, 200322 yr ya, i hate thatI'll be throwing a grenade and someone will rush at me with FAMAS in hand....I'm a free targetI usually just throw the grenade at my feet, so when they kill me they run into the grenade and die!in CS, you're able to hold the grenade forever even after you pulled the pin..is this cooking the grenade? I know you're not suppose to be able to hold the grenade forever with the pin out...

May 19, 200322 yr ok listen up ppl... it is very possible to put a pin back in a grenade. If you pull it and suddenly you dont need it any more, like it happens to me all the time, you ought to be able to put it back in. As for the person that mentioned CS and holding it forever, you can do that too. Its not untill you release the clamp (or whatever that bar thing is) that the fuse starts to run down. Once you've done this, you're commited. cooking the nade is when you release the bar and let the fuse run down a before you throw it, so by the time the enemy sees it, BOOM. too late :twisted: frag on.

May 19, 200322 yr it is a good idea, but the rarely have i had to think i dont need the grenade i was about to throw, usually if you think that you were about to waste a nade by a random throw. With what kamakazi said, the animation of doing it would have to be pretty slow probably causing more problems then what you want out of it.maybe an action where the pin doesn't get pulled out until you release the trigger, but right clicking makes him let go and bring back up weapon, would probably be more logical
May 19, 200322 yr The Frag grenade can be put back in. The Stielhand grenade starts a fuse/reaction that cannot be stopped.In real life that is.I would like to be able to put the pin back in the Frag in 2.8.
