February 16, 200521 yr From now on belgians have to pay taxes on PC's (if you buy one) to compencate the music industry fore illegal downloads... Now i dont really get this. Do we actualy pay a fine fore something we havent dont yet??? Or is illegal downloading legal now? Becouse we pay fore it... Thats like paying a speeding ticket when you buy a car becouse other people may drive to fast. Anybody knows how to declare your house as an indipendent state?
February 16, 200521 yr Why don't we put fines on internet connections, because that aids the transfer, and don't forget phone lines, people could play a song and they MIGHT hear it in the background. Oh don't forget about the radio, it's gotta go. They play the songs and I don't have to pay ANYTHING!

February 16, 200521 yr Author an other bad thing is how it got passed... I am not gona tell more about it becouse it would become to politcal but i gues some heads will roll next elections. What is this year again (we got elections like every year it seems) but only city counsel. It all has to do with the very complicated way of how the belgian state is organised. Its like the US with different small states but with their own gouvernement instead of just a governor. And one state blaming on the other. But in the end its a lot of talk and not a lot of doing. But i will probably gona buy my pc and parts in germany, way cheaper they dont have to pay the 21% extra sales tax + enviroment tax (2% i think) + the new tax (4%) o and you need to calculate the sales tax after all the other taxes have been added Now i can understand the need of taxes, but this tax i dont really get. Oh and an advice fore the future, keep an eye on Belgium i think some intresting stuff is gona happen in the next 12 or so years.

February 17, 200521 yr move to America... there are plenty of groups that would take up your side.... i would be for such a tax as long as it isnt crazy high... that would give me the right to downlaod as i pelase because i refuse to pay for something i havent done. you should contact your local government and complain. get a petition with several thousand names and then move it through the political ranks. take it to the local then state appealet courts. from there, win your case and take it federal court of appeals, then wi nagain and take it to the supreme court. it is illegal for them to tax you liek this it is against your rights as stated i nthe constitution..... if you lived here =] in Delaware we have no sales tax.

(more than 50%) ppl who earn 200000 BEF a month only keep 80000 after taxes Now i know those taxes are needed to keep our entire system going and we are used to it. But instead on saving on ministers pays, i mean we have the most ministers in the world We probably have more ministers than than there are rino's in the world :'(
February 17, 200521 yr jebus, the system must be pretty inefficient if 50% income tax is required. Our lawyers dont even get taxed that much. Again, not getting political, just observing. Feel free to disagree or expound
February 17, 200521 yr Author it isnt inefficient we just have a huge social security system and that needs funding. And i am very glad we have that btw. So i dont mind those taxes. Its just that jobs become very expencive that way.
