we don't even know if these pics are from the BETA ..

 

my prediction is that it's old. the models all look hl1-like and blocky.

the models are the HL1 models. The team has been focusing on the maps only because thats what takes the longest. Trust me, when this comes out, the models will be super ***y.

eh. never liked DOD. screenies looks cool though. my graphics would never be like that though

Normally if you are taking pictures of your mod, wouldn't you like it to look as polished as possible? They should take pictures of the map, not the models (which are the centerpoint in each of the pictures).

 

Other than that, I don't really care for DoD. It was fun for a bit, but not nearly as fun as other games. I'm not paying for that.

CS:S looked the same to me when I first saw it but, when I played I noticed the changes.It will probility be the same with DOD:S .

Heh, I don't know which video it was. I just saw the link at dod site and posted it in this thread. Didn't get a chance to watch either one yet.
