February 28, 200521 yr What is the fastest speed that you have ever been caught doing in a car by a police officer? Mine is 125 MPH with my old Mustang near Hinckley Minnesota. These two girls in a dealer Cavalier merged onto the I-35 and we just had to blow by them to show off ,of course, and then bingo the state trooper was there. Kinda funny afterwards but not at the time with the big fine. LOL.

February 28, 200521 yr I clocked a motor cycle at 140 on I-20 when I worked uniform...does that count? I have been up to about 145-150 in a car myself.
February 28, 200521 yr I have flew by cops in my younger days, Speedometer only went to 160 and I have had it past that. But now im older and drive slow. I got clocked doing 125 one time but the cop was cool and only gave me a ticket for 89mph.

February 28, 200521 yr I'vbe been up to 130mph. Not in my car because i have the stupid governor thing. grrrr. Although here is a little story. Couple weeks ago I was following my girl out to her dad's house to play some pool with friends and she started to speed up. Of course, I was like don't even try b/c your in a cavalier and I have a grand prix. Which is nothing special, but it has a lot of room inside. Which is good for camping trips:). Anyway, I pass her of course, and while I am speeding away I passed a cop some where along the way. He was hiding behind a corn silo. Then I pass another cop after the first cop. All at the time of not knowing this! Stop sign came up and I turned right real quick then I took a left fairly soon and slowed down a bit b/c I didn't know if I was on the right road or not. Apparently the cops never saw me take the left turn, so that was a very good thing. I Looked behind see where my girl was, and I saw this car go flying by the road I was on.( which was the cop) Then one turned on my road, and my phone rang. It was my girl saying she was just pulled over by one of the cop cars looking for me. LOL. They asked her if she knew the car that was ahead of her and she told the she didn't (i love her for that) lol . She asked why and he said he clocked me going way over the speed limit. lol. So they conitued to look for me, for a little while I suppose, while I enjoyed a couple games of pool and the nice warmth of the fire. To let y'all know I was only going 108 or so in a 45.
February 28, 200521 yr I remember to many nights with Wookie in his 89 Mustang GT.... man that car would fly. Lots of red to red runs and one paticular night where we had brake failure
February 28, 200521 yr The whole idea behind speeding is NOT to get caught LOL.. Anyways.. 140 on the bike.. it has some more in it, but was coming up to the section of interstate were the State Cops (no relation to our State ) always sit. Think you can pile anymore junk into your sig JIGA!?!?!?! .
February 28, 200521 yr My car limits at 110mph, but I was caught doing 80mph in a 50mph zone, they didn't ticket me or the civic, but we're on the watch list now.

February 28, 200521 yr I havn't gotten any tickets, yet. Highest i've done, is about 160kmh. This was on a dead main street on a friday night. I sure didnt feel like 160, untill i looked at the speedo.
March 1, 200521 yr I have never had a ticket :o Though once I got hella pwnt by a cop while on vacation on the highway. One of those guys with the speedgun appeared out of nowhere, and I was doing 160KMH in a 100 zone. I thought for sure I was nailed, so I slowed down and got perpared to pull into the "service" area *4 cops cars up ahead by the side of the road able to write up 4 people at a time * Heh, well, they didn't motion me over, but as I passed the cop stepped out and ordered the guy being me onto the side of the road. So either they screwed up and got the wrong guy, or the guy behind me was speeding worse and they decided to take the fastest mover out of the speeders.
March 1, 200521 yr What the hell is it with people taking pride in moving at unsafe speeds, putting themselves and others at needless risk and evading law enforcement. I admit I occasionally break the speed limit to pass someone or stay with traffic, but all these tales of ppl going 100+, not to mention all the close calls I have had with ******* drivers (dont even get me started on women drivers...) has me wondering if it is even safe to drive anymore. whew, sorry had to get that off my chest, dont take it personally

March 1, 200521 yr On 29 years that i drive cars, i take some "tickets": i think 4 or 5 if it's not 6??? Here in Belgium, 1 ticket is expensive but if you got 3 tickets on a year, your driver licence [ if there is the good expression of permis de conduire in french] will be removed for 3 month to unlimited date.... And if it's removed for some month, you do to comeback to the driver's school to exam again for to take the right to redrive a car again... Hard here... Egidio. PS. To convert mph to kph it's a 5/8 and to convert kph in mph = 8/5 : 160 kph = 100 mph, 140 mph = 224 kph or in french Km/h.
March 1, 200521 yr In 1996, I bought a used '92 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 from a dealer in North Carolina. On the trip home, at about 3am, my friend and I decided to see what it could do. Stupid 155MPH limiter....
March 2, 200521 yr speeding is dangerous guys ROFL! You think? Once, I was given a ride by my friend. He was "speeding" at 90 mph in a 45 zone. Normally, 90 wouldn't be all that fast or exciting, except for the fact that his car should never be allowed to go over 50. I swear the car was ready to fall apart. I was wondering what it would be like to lose a wheel at 90 mph.
