March 15, 200521 yr Author my monitor sucks. at 1024x768 i cnat only get 60 hertz but at 960x600 i can get 85 hertz. but i dont like smaller resolutions. looks bad -G

March 15, 200521 yr What? Dude, just try out 640 x 860 or whatever, I use that, can play PERFECTLY and I get 100 fps. Just play with that for a week and try it out

Uhm, not if you turn off the vertical sync (or vsync for short) This will allow your graphic card to draw a new frame at any time and not having to wait for the screen to be finished drawing. This can cause some slight tearing in your frame (where the vertrical trace was on the screen when the graphics card desided to start drawing the next frame) but other than that there are no issues Ok maybe not the best technical explanation but if you need more ask google, [DIAL]Doc

March 15, 200521 yr I know I have talked to G for a long time yesterday on Xfire about that problem. I still think something else is making sure the Game is unsing vsync (even though he turned it off in the driver) and don't ask me what I have no clue [DIAL]Doc
March 15, 200521 yr i used to get 100FPS with some commands in my config, but i reformatted and dont know them anymore
March 15, 200521 yr Author i messed with a ton of settings in the console brought to me by someone. nothing still. could be waht doc said. but i dunno what would still be enabling it -G
