I'm not exactly a nerd, WSAENOTSOCK...I'm not extremely smart... my brother is more of a nerd than me in the smarts category, and he's more preppy too, and doesn't like anime as much as me (I'm not obsessed, a only sometimes watch some, I barely watch TV anyways). See it's like this: I have this nerd-like friend, his name is... Flak Magnet... and he doesn't realy like anime that much (no offense buddy). So anime likers dont neccessarily have to be nerds... its just that the people that do like anime on the east coast are often nerds, while there are more "normal" people on the west coast who like anime... just look at BulletFace, she's normal... other than her computer gaming habbits, but that could be normal on the west coast. So WSAENOTSOCK, please don't make such assumptions (I know, I know, it was a joke)

Oh well...back to other posts. I kinda fell into anime by getting Macross Plus. I just thought it was pretty cool, so then I happened to pick up Evangelion...which then lead to other series such as Martian Successor Nadesico, BGC Tokyo 2040, Patlabor, Dominion Tank Police and many many more. For me...my collection is pretty big =( But I can't always find everything which kinda sux.

I download that video with Bohemian Rhapsody and for some reason I think the one did with "Engel" was better. ::shrugs::

I liked the Bebop 007 one. I have yet to get the series though =(

anime is the cartoon manga is the comic which are both basically art. i like both. the cartoon makes it come to life basically and like pwns lol but id rather watch the cartoon than read it but ive read more of the manga than watch the cartoon for ranma 1/2 series. that makes no sense but owell i never make sense.

I like the story, the art I really don't care too much about, but some of it looks really nice.

For me i look at anime like movies (in general) there are many type; funny, action, futuristic, mecha, drama, chic flix, kung-fu, ones that suck, and ones that make absolutly no sense. But there will always be people out there that like it regardless of its type, and some like it all just like avid movie goers. Anime has something movies dont and that is the art aspect, i like most anime and i watch it for the story as well as the art. El-Hazard the magnificent world is my personal favorite.[TA]-Mad Nadder -=)B(=-

They do, sometimes only in acceptable way. But, again, that is another anime trait.PS I see you didnt watch any good anime.......

I don't really care whether or not their mouths are in sync with the words because I rarely watch any anime that has been dubbed in english. I prefer the raw versions of the show, in full japanese. I can get a better sense of peoples emotions moreso than when it is dubbed because the actors almost always suck.
