The most important in our world, it's "MONEY"! The Gold go to the Gold! There is not our "padre" who help his poors poeple but "padres" only "speak" to you the "God" words??? <--- This don't give you food to eat! If you know some painted arts from knowed artist, lot of paints have very high expensive: do you know "La joconde" from Leonardo Da Vinci (or Léonard Devinci)? Hmm, if memory serves me correctly, civilization was quite advanced back then. They even had paved roads and the Roman Aqueducts are a famous part of history. They weren't cavemen.... But what I love more is how people think they are better than those of the past. The only reason we're so technically advanced today is because we keep building on what the generation before us did. People back then are no less intelligent than they are now. Technology takes time to develop, so just because they didn't have a television or the internet (two things which people WASTE their lives on) doesn't make them any lesser than ourselves. Also, the Bible has some of the best references behind it. People love to spout off that they can't be sure it hasn't been tampered with, or if words have been changed, but that's untrue. If anything, there's more evidence supporting it than falsifying it. There is better documentation on the authenticity of the Bible than any other text ever put down on paper. And remember, the Roman Catholic Church is pretty much the biggest charity on the planet. Buddhism is a big religion, but their contributions to the needy and the rest of society pales in comparison to that of the Catholics'. Besides, since when has giving money to the poor ever kept them from being poor? History tells us that just giving money has little to no results. Old Chinese proverb: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Anyone heard of the "Trickle down" effect in economics? It sounds funny when you say that giving money to the wealthy will help the poor, but remember, who are the ones that invest in business? If you have more wealthy people putting money into the economy (as opposed to taxing them and having the government spend it on dying social programs), you have businesses thriving and hiring more people. It works and history substantiates my claim. Well, I've said too much.

April 3, 200521 yr Don't forget that in Europa we have not the same taxes than lot of USA, Canada and South America taxes. If you work in Belgium, you pay taxes at the source sold + the differents at the state = 52% on the 100% of your annual payement. I have a neighbourg who go each year in Canada to see his son, he tell me in Canada, he can refound or recover the taxes who he give it at his son... That don't exist here: administration are rats... lol Here, you pay before the taxes and if there is a mistake they refound you the differents else no way... Egidio.
