I cant wait for BF2

Featured Replies

Why?

Because CSS is turning out to be just like CS, it will tear us all apart given the chance. There has been enough controversy already. I plan to play bf2 with TAC even if i hate it, if only to have a friendly atmosphere devoid of the ilk who play CS.

I seriously have no idea what you're talking aboutI haven't noticed any hostile atomsphere in the CSS server, everyone's usually friendly and work as a team whenever I play
I agree too Defcon. Everyone is very hostile. I think it's because they're all high-speed internet user, and that's make people more impatient. When they die, they have to wait.. so they become more prone to just randomly exploding and getting mad at everyone. (Yes, I'm talking about myself. But statistically High-speed internet users are less patient than other people, even in everyday actions.)

Well I see what you are talking about but usually any person who plays online games has High-speed internet. You can't really play many games without it. But I know how some people can get hostile but I don't really find it that bad in our server.

I think the controversy was created by a few select parties and not CSS in general. Those parties have been taken care of so hopefully there won't be as much tension anymore. I haven't really seen a lot of hostility in the CSS server. At least not any more than there ever was in the FA server. Frankly I think FA is worse for poor attitudes, but that may just be me.

I think supporting new games in general tears people apart. Some people move to a new game, some don't. Some people get recruited for one game and people who play a different game never come into contact with that other person. There's also the fact that there are around 100 people in the clan. Some clans with just 10 people in them get torn apart from playing just one game. You can't expect 100 diferent people playing different games for different reasons to always get along.

Not that I'm against having a lot of people in the clan or supporting more games or anything. The more the merrier. Problems should be expected though. You also can't really blame a game for tearing people apart. Games don't tear people apart, people tear people apart.

It also seems that doing something you hate because your friends are doing it doesn't often end up well.

i have noticed people have been A LOT more civil as of late on the server, and for that I am thankful, but it is only a matter of time before another "you-know-who" or "you know who" pop up and the whole thing starts over again. CS is almost entirely populated by losers, its just a matter of time before they all start to move over to CSS, and then all the admins in the world wont be able to stem the tide of idiocy
Hopefully in the future we won't let issues go on with players for as long as we've done before, now that we know what the consequences are. I figure most of the people who have bad attitudes from CS are also the people that are hardcore dedicated to CS and are most likely to stay with CS than to move on to CSS. I guess we can only hope. But really, it's not that bad. No sense letting a few bad apples spoil the bunch, or whatever.

agreed.

i had my best time with CSS before HL2 came out, playing with TAC. lately it has been much less enjoyable and i have stopped playing. but i will still play in the 1vs1.

now when im gaming im playing Natural Selection only

I've noticed it slightly more tense, but we are starting to get laid back again.

I know i'm doing my part, actualy saying stuff like "nice shot" and trying not to get mad when i die with an awp i just bought and had all my money and... :peace:

ok, i'm happy again. :(
