I just want to let you guys know that, thanks to Sgossard, 3.0 is pretty much done and is on the way to Valve. I know it'll be hard waiting for Valve to finish the installer and get it back to us, and for us to send it to our mirrors, but try not to gnaw off your fingernails in the meanwhile. Just hang tough. And be sure to look for more information soon... on several subjects. - Alex

April 14, 200521 yr posted by sgoss People of FA, 3.0 is done!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well i just wanted to let everyone know i got back both the windows and the linux builds from valve. we have tested the windows build and will just need a few days to test the linux build. Everything so far is looking great and i forsee 3.0 being released within 1 weeks time. Dont quote me on that though as unforseen problems could come up but basically we are done and ready to release. People who have requested to be a mirror i have IM you directly to let you know if you will be used. Please get youe mirrors ready and expect an IM about file location soon. thanks to everyone who has made this FA final release a success. A very special thanks to Eric and Alfred of valve for getting the .exe's done so quickly and Alfred especially for helping me with the linux code and compile! its almost here guys!! get ready.
