Ok so. My pc wasnt recognizing my processor correctly (a problem i've had before) aka it was saying that i had an amd athlon 1800 opposed to the 2400 i actually have.

 

I fixed this problem before by changing the FSB settings, so thats what i figured i would do this time.

 

Well, i put it from 133mhz to 166mhz, saved, and exited the bios. My pc restarted and said "flash bios, do not turn off or reset the system" i waited about a minute, then i turned off the system, figuring that something was wrong.

 

Now, whenever i start up my computer, its just a black screen. this IS NOT good.

 

I know theres a way to reset the BIOS from the motherboard, i just dont know how.

yeah i fixed it. i found out how to reset the bios through the jumpers
