I wasn't a huge fan of BF1 or BFV and now can't get this one to work so why buy the game?

.... it runs smoothly on my system... the graphic settings are very low but it's pretty enough for me to tolerate.

now you can destroy their radar with c4, and other things, and the commander cant see your troops movements

you can use xfire to join a server... you guys who are having problems need to stop blaming the game and explore other options

ok so i put in a fake email address so i could play and it was pretty ok...i mean the M24 coulda had better registry or hit percentage but overall i actually liked it.... and i saw Boja too! <3!

If youre using an ATI graphics card, try downloading and installing the Catalyst 5.1 drivers. Theres some problems with the newer drivers.And yes the demo is amazingly awesome, I played 6 straight hours last night with the THC guys.

I just tried your suggestion, and I'm still having the same problems . I reinstalled BF2, and the 5.1 drivers. No luck. For some reason, EVERY SINGLE BF GAME DOES THIS TO ME, if I don't do one of the fixes that I find on Google. I just can't find anything on google for this yet. More help please

I don't even know how it's possible to fly without the joystick. I tried using the mouse and then the keyboard but it was just not smooth enough. I couldn't aim.

 

I got a really sweet joystick for only 50 bucks canadian, works sweet.

Started downloading today at 250 KB./s. and will take 1 hour and a half but need more time with now 120 KB./s...

some of the best pilots in BFV used just the mouse and keyboard.. azntwon was a monster in the chopper and didnt use a joystick, i use it fine, its only harder to fly planes because you have to pick up your mouse and move it to make a steep turn

Ya, i fly helis with mouse and keyboard and planes with joystick. I just cant seem to turn a plane fast enough with my mouse. I lvoe how they separated the controls in BF2, thats a great feature.

i should ask my friend Austin....hes an ace at flying in DC and Vietnam and BF1942....hes really good with the keyboard.

I thought the game looks really well done and smoothly put together. It doesnt have problems for me.

 

see, I have the whole cs:s lag issue when I play and people all say "its my pc". No it isnt. It just wasnt programmed right because somehow, a server can average 100 ping with 40 people in the bf2 demo, but css could never even scrape that.

 

This will be my new main game. Like RTCW:ET im engineering.

 

I have yet to come across mic spammers and overall pests. Though I wish if you kamikazied it didnt sack your capture points

Well I wish I could've got to play with you guys but it wasn't meant to be.

 

I was at work friday evening looking forward for after work to get bf2 demo and installed to play. But when I got home and was excited to play I got bad news . . . the stupid demo doesn't work for win98se only for winxp . That's not fair, I was sooooo looking forward to the demo and the game just to end up being disappointed that I'm not able to play

 

I hope the full version will work for win98se if not I guess you wont see me playing because I can't afford winxp and why should I have to change my windows just to play one game. Oh well bf2 isn't meant to be I guess. I say that because I was going to use the demo to see if it's a game worth getting but since I can't use the demo maybe the game isn't worth getting after all if you need winxp to play it.

 

The demo should work for any windows not just XP. That's a dumb way to try and get people to buy your game, if they can't even try out the demo because they're using an older windows.

yeah i have to fly using the Arrows and WASD not my mouse...id rather use my mouse :/

The Demo is absolutely great. I cant wait until the game is out.

I just started downloading this. Hopefully I'll like it, but I've never plaed any of the BF games, so who knows.
