This demo pwnz. I was playing on the TAC server last night and had a blast. Thanks for setting up the server. BTW, it seems that someone else has registered the name "ShadowWolf" so I'm using "BuckDharma" (my PoE name).
Never liked any of BF games because of "fake" realism, realistic tanks and stuff but in a small map... and can u still drive and fire with the tank when you are the only crew?
I havn't downloaded the demo yet. I have BF2 preordered and already paid off so I am just going to wait until it comes out so I can have the whole game all at once.

they forsake some realism for what we call 'fun'

do you really want a crappy game?

Well, it's not too bad. It reminds me more of AA meets DoD. I really like how they did the medic kit though. It's fun running around the battlefield, healing and reving team mates while tossing a few grenades underneath an enemy tank. Driving the ground vehicles is a lot easier than I thought it might be, but I'm not touching the aircraft for a while. I have no clue as to how they're supposed to work, but I might be able to figure out the helicopter sooner or later. I used to have some black hawk flight sim that I managed to play using mouse and keyboard. As to whether or not I'm going to buy it, there are a few red flags making me hesitant to do so. At time spawn camping is rampant and extremely annoying. Every once in a while a team mate shows up as an enemy so I end up teamkilling them on accident. It can get annoying when the commander gives my squad a target and I'm the only one that heads there. other than that, it's halfway decent. Guns are accurate enough so you can hit the broad side of the barn, but you can't snipe terribly well without a sniper rifle. People go down in 4-5 shots, a reasonable number(unlike FA  ). And the medic class is fun :)

So that's my opinion, the opinion of the doubter. The demo hasn't truely converted me, but I might give BF2 a shot a while after it gets released.

That happens to me all the time, is it a bug or something?

I was playing with you yesterday! Excuse me if I wasn't playing too seriously, a few friends and I were playing on the server, just messing around a bit.
WOW. It's amazing. Simply amazing. I set up outside one of the USMC bases with an M249, and then all of the sudden, about 10 Iraqi's ran right out in front of me, with no cover, all about 75m away. Man, I had a BLAST shooting all of them down.
