In what, not much a problem here, except when I try to spray. Short bursts, and a little aiming are the key... (in BF2 that is..)

would someone PLEASE teach me how you BUNNY HOP in FA...>_< theres a stamina bar for a reason you know.. >.<

no way dude ;)
Yeah but the accuracy sucks.

I felt the very same thing as you Mac, but I heard some talk about this, and it appears that it takes more rounds to kill because players are simulated wearing more balistic type protection (modern warfare), and depending on the kit you choose, you will have more/less protection than other.

I can kill the bunny hoppers, but FA zig-zagger are the worse hitboxes to hit. ;)

the only weapon I've had accuracy issues with is the PKM and M249... but considering the insane amount of lead they spit out, I'd say it's a fair trade. Even in short bursts and prone, it's very hard to get a hit. These weapons can only be used as they're meant to be.... for suppressing fire. For some reason, I don't mind. I like the idea of putting out lead and keeping heads down while my more accurate buds advance.
the accuracy sometimes gets me mad too, i crouch down behind someone and start taking shots with my iron sights, but they just turn around and kill me quickly. one thing i like is that it is accutaly possible to hit things at a distance and the registration is quite good from far away, you can snipe with more guns that just the sniper rifle.

bunny hopping????????!?!?!?!?!?!??! sounds like ima be good at this game. AND sprint! hahaha im untouchable

ok....i agree with Gator, those damn zig-zaggers are hard to hit >_<! and anyway i cant ever hit anything with an m24 and the SVD takes about 6 hits to take someone down ;)
Well just this morning i was playing and I had a pistol out. I came up on the enemy and he was prone. He had no idea i was there so I decided to shoot you with my pistol. I unloaded into his head. He miracolously stood up, jumped, turned and killed me. Needless to say i was very upset and very confused. ;)

exact same thing happened to me, i came up behind a prone guy and started pistoling him, after about half a clip he turns and kills me

Oh, so in BF2 you have to shoot someone 20 times with a rifle before they die like in FA? Not so sure I want to get it then. That's what pisses me off about FA more than the brutally ineffective rushing aspects of it. I can pump a good 10-15 rounds into someone's back(these are hits mind you) and have them still kill me.

btw, I had to redownload the BF2 demo, it was corrupt. it's pitifully slow right now, but it's late so I don't care. I'll just have to see how well it plays tomarrow.

*sigh*

I'm not having any problems with the aim. Just use a good rifle. Ofcourse the smg's and pistols will give you a hard time. Just try one of the rifles at single shot fire. It's fun to snipe with it ;o

From what I have seen, there really isn't anything wrong with sniping. It's just that you have to get used to it - adjust for distance and movement.

The only downside i see is that it takes so many rounds to take out a person with a sniper rifles if you dont hit them in the head its not worth the time.

Mr

Use the following weapons to get effective kills:

1. Knife

2. Medic Paddles (refibulator?)

3. C4 is your friend

;)

J/K

The weapons above are one shot killers, well, the C4 is if the enemy is sitting on it.

I find it just takes time to get use to the weapons, and yes, it does take a good ammount of rounds to take the enemy down.

I pretty much always use the Spec Ops class or Assault class and ALWAYS keep my weapons on single shot unless in extreme close range.

I agree with you Finner. It seems to me the kevlar jackets and such they wear play a big role. There is a little menu in-game where you can see how much armor each class has and the damage each weapon does ect... I think it's something like, "BFHQ". I am very satisfied with the accuracy and damage of every weapon. I feel it is in the highest realism. It's nothing like FA, I have no idea why it was compared to that. FA is a poorly modded game in a poorly outdated game. BF2 is a beast. There's no doubt about it. I'm excited just thinking about playing it, it's so beast.

I play medic all the time and get more kills than most assaulters.. how?

Single shot and sight whoring = pop-pop-pop no more head.

It's all about how you use your gun.. spraying for teh lose.

too bad there isn't a single mode for the support class, that would be lamers heaven

As a medic i always concentrate on healing/reviving players, so i die alot more

As a special forces guy i can do really well, but only at med-long distances :\ for some reason i dont hit close up... must be the ping difference, i dunno but it sucks...

I think im gonna just own in teh choppers
