June 26, 200520 yr Yeah i know two threads in a minute, but they are totally unrelated: Today I was in a squad and it seemed like no one could hear me talk (even though it was all enabled, mic checked, and the talk indicator was on), and I could only hear one other member of my squad (Cleatus, but he couldnt hear me bacl). It also seemed like no one could see my orders or my chat. Is this a bug? Has this happened to anyone else? This isnt the first time it has happened to me.

Just today I think the game reset my stats i think it lost mine too... when i loaded up yesterday i was 10 points away from PFC, so i went to a ranked server capped a flag and it promoted me. during that map i got 4 medals or ribbons (i have screenshots of getting them) . later that day playing on ranked servers i advance to PFC about 3 more times, understandable since they havnet updated their servers and every time i quit it sends that sessions info to EA but doesnt store it. then today i start and i dont have any of the awards and only 30 more points than i did yesterday. i know it takes a long time to update and all, but this is over 24 hours ago... i will wait a while before emailing them
June 27, 200520 yr Author well I got my stats back, but now the ranked servers are so jammed and laggy that playing on them is useless. The Server Browser, being the worst one ever, isnt helping matters. Like I said, I adore this game.... when it lets me play it
June 27, 200520 yr One thing I wouldn't mind is a "auto-join when spot opens on a server" thing. but I've been able to connect to ranked servers easily today so I'm not complaining.
June 27, 200520 yr make sure your mic in your system settings is on and turned on max. also advanced setting microphone boost helps alot. -G
June 27, 200520 yr ok now i think it is our server, every other server i go to i ask people if they can hear me and they say yes and i can hear them... i know everything is supposed to be set right but im just tellin it like i see it

June 27, 200520 yr The voice problem has been fixed. Thanks to... RiverRat Frost Lagn StateCop ...for their assitance in troubleshooting the problem. It had to do with the IP Gateway and Interface settings on the server. The server is running smooth as silk now. We also set up Battlefield Recorder, and it is really cool. When we get done testing the different quality/performance setings, we will turn it on permently. -Gator
