June 28, 200520 yr any reason the css server down so much? everytime i try to play css and look for the server its not responding. Have you changed ips?

June 30, 200520 yr Internet provider for TAC servers bandwith is limited and expensive. Because FA still used lots they keeping it going. Their BF2 uses a lot of available bandwidth, so when needed and they see few to none using CSS, they have to shut it down when other 2 servers are busy and bandwidth nearing limits.

FA and css take up comparably no bandwidth to bf2, and its empty because its not regularly up for whatever reason, so people have no idea if it is running or not
June 30, 200520 yr it had at least 4 people in for the majority of the afternoon yesterday. Me and Poptart play a lot on the server and sometimes we can attract a crowd.

July 2, 200520 yr *cough*battlefield attics turned it off*cough* No the BF2 players did not turn it off, but we will look into what is causing the problem. It may be the Admin tool we are using that is causing all of the crashes.
July 2, 200520 yr Author cool thanks gator. TAC css used to be filled with ppl when I was getting 15 fps. Now that Im getting 150fps noone plays on it. :'(
July 3, 200520 yr OK, I did a complete reinstall, so the server is running on new files, None of the cool stuff like "rank" is turned on, so let me know how it runs for you all now. If it is stable, we will turn on more stuff.

Any way of putting the final IP number on the front page of the website so that people don't have to hunt through the forums to find it? lol. July 10, 200520 yr NOOOOOOOOOO! Just when everyone was coming back! Finally got to see our old friends and now it's down again! I imagine you guys are working on it to get it back up. Seems like right after you guys added the "cool stuff" back in, it crashed again. Sure hope it comes back up soon! ~Worm~

July 11, 200520 yr I recently got hl2-css. Not all familiar with cs maps or gameplay yet. Friday night (early sat morning), tried it. Not too bad. The game I mean. I was bad. Got tired after 2 hrs, had 5 against 5. Noticed later on it was full. Good to see it occaisionally gets used lots.

July 29, 200520 yr The server was down for a while; it's back up now and it will start getting popular again. Dead People and I play there most evenings with what seems like "most of our clan". There were about eleven players on last night. Some KTA, some not. So drop on by and hang out with us. Sometimes, I'll get on the Armory when no one else is on. Then all of a sudden people start joining. I think people look at the Armory, see no one is on, and go somewhere else. If you just play there alone for a few minutes..someone usually comes to join you. One night Dead People and I were the only two people on and within one hour 14 or 15 people were playing on the server. LOL People want to come back. They just need to see someone there first. Anyhow, hope to see you around and I hope you had a good missions trip. :peace: ~Worm~
