June 30, 200520 yr never heard of metal gear solid? they are pretty much the same guy That's Solid Snake (David), and the character Big Boss (with the eye patch and all) was the one who was slightly inspired by the Snake Pliskin character from the Escape From L.A/New York movies...but of course Solid Snake is a clone of Big Boss so I guess he can also be seen as slightly inspired, but much less so than Big Boss himself anyway...the character I most identify with is probably Gordon Freeman, since he's just your every-day guy put into some crazy situation
