whyy does the server lag .. and im talking like pinging 400+ around the time the server stats are updating D: and its not just for a minute it lags for a good 5-10 mins

 

it is very nostalgic though, reminds me of the good ol' 56k days :flame:

It takes about 5-10 mins because there is so much stats like player stats, weapon stats, awards, clan stats etc. And it updates twice a day so we don't have to wait 24hrs to see if we improve our stats or made them worse

The lag problem should be fixed now. I set the stats Perl script to run at "below normal", so that should fix the lag problem. What happens is the Perl script starts parsing about 400+ log files and typically uses as much CPU as available.

 

Let me know if you have any more problems.
