I had a mouthful of "Bud" at the time the pilot jumped out after it. I almost "lost it" before finally settling down to swallow. I imagined the pilot getting the bud then realizing, "oh, shoot, well, might as well drink these asap. Besides sometimes drunks survive falls that sobers do not." Maybe the extra weight, if he could hold it in, or just hold it, would hlp him catch up to first jumper to be saved.
