September 2, 200520 yr Well, I saw State last night playing BF2, so I would think he's not too bad off... Don't know about Marshal. Whether your able to or not, its still nice that you're willing to go help. My search and rescue team is still on 24 hour standby, we were notified early yesterday to get ready to go, then told to stand down because they had more national guard troops coming in... Playing the hurry up and wait game now.. TFD
September 2, 200520 yr We are good....Lost power like for 1 hour when it come through our section of the state. We live in almost the most northern part of AL so not to bad here. I actually did not have to go Mobile this time. They sent some of the people that didnt go for the last hurricane to give us a break I guess. I have been told to keep bag packed in case I have to relieve the guys down there and there is a chance I could go to New Orleans. As for NO, I have a friends who has a sister down there. She is a medic and said things are worse than they are telling on TV. They are shooting at everything that moves down there and they had to be rescued from a building after running from their ambulance being shot at. She also said there was an ambulance crew missing and feared dead but that is not being told right now.

September 2, 200520 yr Author statie stay safe, i dont want some stupid thugs taking you out.my brother and i are still trying to find a way down for a week. but (a cops worst dream) there is no way i am going down there unarmed. i understand self defense and do not wish to hurt anyone but, ive made this clear in the oast to my family. i will not hesitate to kill someone who endangers either myself or a family member.

September 3, 200520 yr so her ambulence was getting shot up? I am not sure...she just said they were getting shot at. He was on speaker phone with her and we were all chatting a little bit while working on a search warrant. My friend did most of the talking since it was his sister.
