I got in game.. death.. After 10 deaths or so, i decided to join another server.. And you know what happened ? I got in game.. death.. i got in game.. death.. i got in game.. death. I even couldnt fire one single shot.. I decided to go outside into the sun and dont destroy my pc.. I hope tomorrow it will be a better BF2 Day for me...

September 2, 200520 yr My first days of BFII weren't that bad. I guess people have gotten better all around and like to spawn kill a lot. Choose different spawn points if you can to avoid them. Run right away and try to hide til you can gather your thoughts. Don't destroy your p.c.
September 2, 200520 yr hmmm I pwnded it up from the start Actually it takes getting used to after playing the HL based stuff. Make sure you take cover and think tactical/real world type stuff. Do not move through open area no more than you have to...move along walls and buildings so you dont stick out with a big kill me sign when you are in the open ground.
September 2, 200520 yr Arn, go outside and kill Sarah Connor instead. It might have some issues to kill the 'proper' one but still you would have fun killing the others.
September 2, 200520 yr heh...my first bf2 expeirience was ok. i was used to playing bf games so this one was really easy for me to catch on to.
September 2, 200520 yr it really matters what people you were playing with, but mostly, if you're playing smart, you don't get this kind of gaming experiance. Bf2 is a very "go for cover, stay behind cover, pot shots are you kills" kind of game.

Plus it gets frustrating after waiting forever to get in just to be killed everytime you spawn then quit to another server wait again forever for the map to load to get in just to killed all over again.

Plus it gets frustrating after waiting forever to get in just to be killed everytime you spawn then quit to another server wait again forever for the map to load to get in just to killed all over again. Thats what i like about FA: no waiting until respawn. I cant mostly play with TAC People, because if they are playing i am sleeping (different timezone). Overall i think the game is pretty very good, i think i had only a bad day to play. Give me unlimited power and full body armor and i will rule the game.

September 3, 200520 yr [rant]I love how I'm running for a helicopter and am just about to get in... then I get tk'd. THATS TOTALLY SWEET!!! That happens on almost every server. VERY frustrating not to mention the "hiding" and "tactical" playstyle is just about the most boring thing I have ever had the unfortunate chance of taking part in. What a waste of 60 dollars and the 3-4 hours I played. [/endrant]

September 4, 200520 yr i know what JonJon's talking about, but i dont feel that way. ill try to stay awake to play with TigerHawk if i can, since its the weekend right now.

September 4, 200520 yr First online was killed 10 times and I killed 1 or 2 but caped 5 flags: arty kill me each time... Second and third time, my scores are 1 or 2 by 5: when arty come when I capted flags, I go to hidden under bridge or houses... Most easy to play with low ping in euro than high ping on USA servers... But it's always the old computer that I can play BF2 Egidio.
September 4, 200520 yr if you guys are having trouble with multiplayer do some 16 player maps with the bots, and get the controls and feel of the game down.

September 6, 200520 yr I was fortunate to have played alot of Desert Combat, BF:1942, and BF:Vietnam before coming to BF2, so I knew what to expect. Many times, the game can be called "Battlefield SpawnRape"... unfortunate drawback to the otherwise great franchise. Unadmin'd friendly fire servers SUCK. Doesn't matter which game you play. There is so many ways to grief or abuse it. And quite frankly, I find BF2's TK punishment system quite sloppy. But don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the game when I get up the gumption to play it on my somewhat slow system. Long as I stay out of firefights involving more than 15 peaple, I can usually function and hold my own. I feel your frustration.. but love the game too much to put it down.
September 10, 200520 yr I just have to add this. I got a little Steamed yesterday while playing as commander on a clan server. One guy that was in the clan started a mutiny vote against me so he could be commander. I can see this in random games by some dummy but if it is your clan server isn't that some bad sportsmanship. If it was our server I would say ok let the guy play commander or he won't be coming back or if you REALLY need to be commander ask him if he could resign at least. Man I let that guy know too that he was not a very good sport.
