One player is selected to be "The Hidden", a genetically altered human, while the rest of the players are special forces soldiers of a sort. "The Hidden" is invisible and can jump farther than the soldiers. Yet he only carries a knife and a couple of pipebombs. The soldiers have either a shotgun or smg and a pistol. The soldiers are tasked with eliminating "The Hidden", while "The Hidden" has to race against time to eliminate the soldiers. If time runs out, the soldiers win.

"The Hidden" gives off a small shimmer, allowing you to see him if you look closely - though its tough when he is moving fast and jumping. (Kind of like the effect when its really hot and you can see the heat rising off the street.)

It is a lot of fun. Working as a group over the microphone is awesome. Go download it. The mod is still in the beta stages, so don't be surprised if you find some bugs.

yeah i'll download this, the idea sounds cool. Might be fun in vent with some of those guys...does G have HL2?

By the way "A hl2 mod" not "an"

By the way "A hl2 mod" not "an"

if you say the letter "H" instead of pronouncing "Half", then "an" is correct.

HOWEVER, the letter 'H' is like the letter 'Y' in that it can be both a consonant and a vowel. it is correct to say "I stayed in an hotel last night". it is more acceptable, however, to say "I stayed in a hotel last night".

Using articles with abbreviations and acronyms:

One of the most often asked questions about grammar has to do with the choice of articles a, an, the to precede an abbreviation or acronym. Do we say an FBI agent or a FBI agent? Although "F" is obviously a consonant and we would precede any word that begins with "F" with "a," we precede FBI with "an" because the first sound we make when we say FBI is not an "f-sound," it is an "eff-sound." Thus we say we're going to a PTO meeting where an NCO will address us. We say we saw a UFO because, although the abbreviation begins with a 'U," we pronounce the "U" as if it were spelled "yoo." Whether we say an URL or a URL depends on whether we pronounce it as "earl" or as "u*r*l."

How dare ye' insult my grammar.

yeah it makes sense if you say "H" but i was thinking "Half" whatever, all is well.

I just finished playing it Sharp. Real fun, i was in a server with only 4 people but hiding and then yelling out that the Hidden is there on the mic is real fun. Let's play some time Sharp.

How dare ye' insult my grammar.

Tell 'em, Sharpie! Get 'em!

(Where'd you get the quote, eh?)

Well, I just played this for a bit. Very cool idea, but theres still a few bugs, like when I was the hidden, I couldn't see. This one time, the Hidden was trying to kill us in this one room, and so naturally I back into a corner [yes, to cry]. Then I couldn't get into the corner, and I turn around and BAM. HIDDEN'D!!

I can't seem to play online at all, and the bots suck. Nobody on the forums could help me, either!
It was cool, alot of potential. Feels like predator. There was a bug where the hidden would spawn with the marines, so needless to say, he got smashed for like 5 rounds straight. It was cool.

I'd like to slap anyone that pronounces it as "earl." Most people will look at you as if you were stupid if you use the term "earl" while talking about computers. And we musn't forget about the acronym ERL. I should say we should avoid confusing people.

It's the first beta release, so bugs should be expected. For the most part, I didn't catch any serious bugs that killed the fun.

So, the hidden is trying to be like Klink with that KLINKED like saying.

yes i have it. i dled it b4 sharp. its pretty fun when you get others you know to play with. catch me on xfire and sharp and i will play with ya. its good tiems

if my memory not corrupt, lol, i seem to recall something similar in one of the HL1 multiplayer maps yrs ago ? i recall you might start map as this mayor looking guy that had no weapons, had to get to enemy side point, protected by his team, to win, if he died, map restarted.
