prefix

- Nickname Prefix in new patch

You can add a 6-character prefix (such as a clan tag) to your

account nickname which will be displayed in-game next to your

nametag in the score menu, in game messages, and above your player

in the game world.

Well, isn't that great if your name is <TAC> something it will always have the TAC part in it anyway. So this prefix thing does me no good.. Wasn't planning on leaving TAC or anything....

The theory is sound behind the prefix add-on to the game but i just tried it and it wont take the "< >" in our tag for some stupid reason.
i also find it funny that they only allow 6 characters. ive seen a lot of clan tags with much more than 6. sucks to be those people hahahah

6 is a large amount (enough to fit [GOAT]) and should be enough for any clananything beyond 6 is raelly just excessive nubity

I think EA doesn't have any input form real gamers before they release something.

I am sad to say that I actually agree with Caste here. 6 is plenty.

But that is a good idea to do that, even though it is stupid that it cant have <> signs in it

They should also allow a one time total name change so we can get rid of the <TAC> we already have and then add the prefix.

Or they could just allow you to change your name on your account whenever you wanted to and still keep your stats but that would just be stupid huh?

i.e. Log in with an account name and then you have a player name that is seperate like in Steam.

For right now, we are using

=TAC= prefix, but we will may change this at a later date. It actually stands out and looks nice. :D

I disagree. I would prefer [TAC] over -TAC- or =TAC= ... I think that the brackets break the clan badge from the much better than the dash or equals. I'm sure everyone will have an opinion on this. Perhaps a poll is in order?

I have finally decided as others have suggested in other thread, that the

=TAC= looks better then <TAC>. But they have also now decided it to be

=A= if I understand correctly. But it doesn't clearly represent "The Armory... Clan". It's cool to this Canadian though, "A" , LOL. :D I think they needed to shorten it. I dunno if

=TA= would be short enough ? Atleast more identifiable with us ?

I like Hogans idea to have it look like this =TA= gives the old school tag feel but instead of [TA] use =TA= :o
