October 21, 200520 yr I've found this program to be use full it wil display the name of any one talking in the channel. it should be usefull for new people Go here to DL http://www.voice-overlay.info.ms/ Once you DL extract it into a folder mine is located in C:\Downloads\BF2 Once extracted go to the ShortcutMaker (one of the things you just extracted) and click on the Battlefield 2 work around then click create. the short cut should apere on your desk top and read like this: VoiceOverlay [bF2 Version] This is very importent, if you dont activate the BF2 work around you will be kicked by PB when you have this running.
October 21, 200520 yr neat little program, only thing is im not sure how to install the bf2 workaround. I click shortcut maker, choose bf2 and click create. It says shortcut created, but on the main program it still says there are none active. How do i activate it? EDIT: ahh ok, i restarted it and it shows bf2 workaround active

November 11, 200520 yr NICE FIND Bangbang....... YAHOO Love it. This is a must install if you like to see Ventrilo names show up ingame while playing BF2. Ver, very, very nice.
November 11, 200520 yr One thing you might want to think about is we are playing in the BF2 World Tournament so it might show us cheating the Disclaimer said use at your own risk Below is a copy/paste of the Disclaimer from VoiceOverlay: Disclaimer VoiceOverlay is free. The program is alpha at the moment. Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any possible damages or software crashed, or bans from games, where the Anti Cheat tool made a false detect. Back to download.

November 12, 200520 yr i downloaded this prog and used it for about 4 hours last night, was fantasctic to know who was talking as i only know a couple of voices at the moment. there was a lot of lag last night, lots of rubber-banding and even a server crash. after a lot of complaints about the lag gator rebooted the server(i took this time to reboot my system) to try and fix the lag. the lag was gone for about 5 minutes, then i started noticing it coming back. i said something about it on ventrilo, someone else said it was probably bf2 bogging my system down(Athlon 64 3500+ OC'd to 2640mhz, 1GB pc4000 ram, ati x800 pro vid card, cable internet) which i didnt think was likely. after getting tired of the lag, i was going to finally call it a night, but just before i logged i noticed that my lag got worse when people spoke in ventrilo. i took a wild shot at the overlay program and turned it off. lag stopped immediately. so, long story short, it can cause lag. ill wait and see if an updated version is released before i turn it back on.

Thanks for sharing that. I certainly won't try it with my below minimum recomended specs system which usually works not bad.
