October 26, 200520 yr Who is your favorite rock singer? I went to see Tesla on Saturday night at a local club and they were really unbeleivable unplugged. I've seen them electric 4 times but never acoustic. Actually, it was a mixture of both and they rocked for 2 hours and 20 minutes straight. Some of you older guys from Texas should know Tesla. They came out late 80's and had a big hit with "Love Song" and remake of "Signs". Jeff Keith of Tesla awesome vocals. My second favorite is Chris Cornell. He has been with, of course, Soundgarden, then Temple of the Dog, now Audioslave. Always, awesome. I have to see him perform one day for sure. Has anyone seen him live?
October 26, 200520 yr Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against the Machine I also like Chris, from Audioslave, but he can really murder a song sometimes
October 26, 200520 yr sometimes i like thom yorke of radiohead. somtimes i like Plant from Zep, or even Raine Maida from OLP. dunno really. Chris is good, but his voice never changes, and can really hurt an album.
October 26, 200520 yr Anders Fridén from In Flames + David Draiman from Disturbed cant forget lee bowman of offtopic aswell ;o
October 26, 200520 yr anders from in flames is nuts... tim armstrong from rancid on some stuff, not others mark and tom from blink tomas from streetlight manifesto
October 27, 200520 yr Boy George from Culture Club..... nuff said. Oh and tesla rocks, but i've only seen Frank Hannon the guitarist play when he was with Moon Dog Mane. Before their reunion.

Has anyone seen him live? unfortunately i had to drive bus by there that night, with all yous out on the road. too bad i missed you and the seniority move up for me on job. my fave rock singer ? hmmmm ... that's not easy ... have to consider who i think i enjoyed (i don't listen anymore except to radio on bus to keep me awake) and made the biggest contribution to music creativity and variety ... basically who i thought like a good actor conveyed much variety, lasted long, made good example for others to follow ... ruling out great instrument accompaniment that is a lot of it ... got it down to ... John Lennon, Paul Mc Cartney, Elton John, John Anderson, Phil Collins ... I go with Phil Collins.

October 28, 200520 yr thats not really a fair question to me I have favorite songs that span almost forty year span of music and different genres to boot too my list would include 1000's
October 28, 200520 yr Author I have about 2000 cd's but I picked two singers and my music interest spans I guess about 30 years or more. Don't get me wrong I love Sinatra and Lennon and McCartney and KISS and Prince etc. but you gotta have a fav.
October 28, 200520 yr lol. many are great. but for me to pick a favorite, as i said, would have the most "varied" style of vocals and music, longest lasting, recieved many awards and been in movie soundtracks which reflects their effect on the "medius" :peace: ha has great soft and great loud stuff. not easy choice, but if you'd seen him like i, doing that dual huge drum set duo in every beat harmony with the other drummer, you'd understand me better. plus he writes instrumental, vocal, directs, etc ... many different styles ... true master diserving of many awards given.
October 28, 200520 yr That's not an easy one, hmm. Jim Morrison Robert Plant Roger Daltrey Roger Waters Those are my favourites as of right now, I guess. But Jim Morrison is definately #1.
