Arrows F and B Arrows strafe Land R Control jump Enter reload delete enter vehicle end sprint ( doesnt really matter cuz you can just hit your forward key twice for sprint also ) Mouse 1 shoot Mouse 2 prone Mouse 3 zoom blah blah blah I switched my prone key to Mouse 2 for this game only since all you do is prone and shoot. I don't like to but that's all anyone does so .........

There is more space around the keys and less chance of hitting the wrong one. 5 Button Mice Rule as well. scroll is switch weapons. mouse 3 is jump mouse 4 is Sprint mouse 5 is Map 0 numpad is reload end is enter vehicle home is squad screen num pad 7 is VOIP numpad 2 is Vent shift and enter is prone \ is main screen The idea behind the Arrows is to surround the arrow keys with your most commonly used keystrokes. The 5 button mouse allows you to sprint and move and have all fingers where they need to be. Thumb activates mouse 4 for sprint. That is the most important of all when having a game with sprinting.
November 11, 200520 yr Oh by the way. When you use a joystick and use the WSAD keys. Where do you put the joystick? That is a big andvantage with the arrows keys. You slide the keyboard over and the joystick goes in between the keyboard and mouse. Your arms are not spread too far apart.

I never have to move my hand more than the span of a few fingers.

I use basicly the defaults. That is why we are usually some of the highest ranked players... :peace: We think about the most effective way of doing things. Like Mac said there is less chance on me hitting the wrong key. I can be sprinting to cover after killing you and two others all while reloading. Can you sprint while strafing and reloading at the same time without hitting the wrong key or looking down? I can...very easily. I used to use those keys and the more I learned about gaming the better I started using the arrow keys. Then when I started putting stuff on my mouse my kills went up even more.

November 14, 200520 yr Why oh why won't they make a quick switch key or a togle firemode key? I've died so many times with my gun on single shot and not being able to pull out my pistol quickly enough.

Why would we use the mouse left handed? I just shift my keyboard about 2-3 inches to the left. It makes everything line up great. I use my mouse with my right hand. I was going to say the samething, why would I put the mouse on the left side of my keyboard to have it in the way :peace: that's why I use the arrow keys to have more room for the mouse by moving the keyboard 2-3 inches over to left like statecop said. November 14, 200520 yr I use Zboard with battlefield2 keyset www.zboard.com and logitech g7 wireless. the bf2 keyset uses default settings (w,s,a,d) but their large directional keys. i have flares set on mouse back button and chase rear & ****pit views with universal scrolling left and right. if you want to make a good investment in bf2 ingame playing check out the zboard. :peace:

November 14, 200520 yr Thanks for the support State. My question is still out there. With the WSAD keys used. Where do you put your joystick, Keyboard, and mouse pad? I myself do not fly much. Not that I cannot. I just really enjoy ground pounding.
