Hi well i just need to know a couple things.....First off i will be using a laythe. Ok here goes the question. For copper wut speed do u run the machine at it at. Ive worked with steel on a vetical mill to make my KDK tool holder(yay) is copper anything like steel to work with? ok thanks

Yes, copper is very soft. Thats why for ages they have mixed it with Zinc and got Bronze.

i am going to make chess peices, except for the pawns...ill be making those on the cnc. one set of chess psices will be copper, the other aluminum. I will be making the little squares out of aluminum...and i might anadize(i think thats how to spell it) them
