November 20, 200520 yr After i needed weeks to install the BF2 1.3 Patch, i tried to install the addon yesterday. Error Message: "Installation of Patch was not sucessful" I have the same problems installing the addon, like i had, installing the 1.3 Patch. I think i need some more weeks to install the addon. At some other pc the installation worked very well.

November 20, 200520 yr You can pre-download it and I'm sure that's what he did. The actual release date is Novemeber 22 (Tuesday). With the pre-download you are supposed to be able to download AND install it ahead of time so that the moment it is formally released you can begin playing. I think that you have a much deeper problem Arnie. May be time to just clean off the old box with a format and reinstall.

November 20, 200520 yr Author I have the addon, believe me. Maybe like Klink said, some Stores in Europe have the possibility to release it earlier. On the 17th i had the game at my home. Two of the single player maps look very cool. Its fun to hunt the enemy as a SAS in the night, with nightvision. There are also some servers for the addon around, but i couldn't play on them, because the pc at my girlfriends home is the only one where the game runs well, but we have only a dial up connection there. And like i said, at my home's main pc, i have the installation error.

November 20, 200520 yr hmmmm... maybe something stopping it ; add to folder not seen ; or seen but not required country or game version ; registry messed up from former probs ; something not letting it access registry ? 1-xp or other antivirus software preventing folder or registry writes and edits? 2-might it need pc online to internet at time but not seeing or firewall block? 3-is your game installed to default c:\... folder or different partition? 4-could multiple past patch install attempts have multiple registry entries meaning one in use was renamed by windows, like instead of registry "location" it is "location1" ?

This is just an example but the razor cell phone. That has already been out in europe and the surrounding countries for about a 1.5 yrs now. They are usually 1-2 yrs. ahead of us in something such as cell phones, laptops, and other things. So I wouldn't be suprised if they released the game over there before it was release here.
