I don't if you guys have heard of this game or not, but be advised that it is an Open Beta. And I've got it ready to download at Gamellama.com. I've been playing this for 2 days, and it so fun, looks like a Battlefield game, but feels like Counter-Strike, or even Firearms. I love it! I will warn you that it is buggy, but keep in mind it is an public beta. Also, the computer specs are real low, for those of you who still have low-fi computers. Just a little update.

 

Do not use Firefox on the WarRock site, it just doesn't work. You must use IE (sorry, not my fault) to register.

 

I've also added the installer file [1.6MB] some people have trouble installing the big file, you might want to try it first, it downloads the installation files from WarRock (may be slow, I don't know)

My son stumbled on this, and when I seen it, I couldn't believe how good it ran on his computer, it's an:

 

AMD 2500+

 

512MB ram

 

ATI Radeon 9500 Pro

 

Runs Perfect, and do mean perfect with everything cranked up high. Also keep in mind that the screenshots are probably not from the public beta.

 

I've played this game for 2 days, it does have some bugs/glitches but it is well worth the d/l and I am definitely watching this game.

well I've tried the game not bad the only thing is I couldn't change my keys to what I like to use which is the arrow keys so I had a hard time using the wsad keys but other then that cool game and it even has a female model who is a medic. Hey boys looks like you'll get all fixed up by a pretty girl :o

the pics do look very nice, i dl it now and try it out.

 

EDIT: having a few problems, i've installed the game and when i run it is says "Cannot get a file [version.ini]". it seems other people were having this problem but can't find a fix

I ran it and played. It does look pretty good. Way better than FA that is for sure.

 

However you cannot remap the keys and defaults are WSAD so I will play when they get a little more function in the game.

 

It is pretty much a Modern DOD:S in Cities with Non-Linear Capping and tactical points.

 

Looks like it could be good.

i downloaded it both from their main website and and the link above, the weird thing is i tried downloading on my crappy basement computer and it worked ( with horrible lag though)

no its a game of its own. i didnt even try playing it though, as the interface confused me. the server one i mean.

It was pretty neat. Near as I could tell though I couldn't kill anyone though. I'd just shoot them and they'd bleed to death later on. It had a pretty confusing interface too. Still pretty fun.

If you get an error when starting up the game, you may need this .dll file:

 

nmconew.dll

 

I didn't need it on one of computers, but on the other, I did.

 

Go figure, it is a beta.

That's a good question? I looked in my WarRock folder on my HD and it couldn't find the file and the game works for me.
