I'm a fan of B-Cell's colored vest models, but I'm looking for the same idea with colored helms. Is there any possible way I could do this myself?

open up the skin for the model...I totally forget how to do this, but I used to skin (pre-skinned) models myself just for fun...I forget how to open up the texture in paint or photoshop or whatever, but once you do just take a red or blue or purple or yellow or green or whatever and just slap it on...I'm sure some1 will tell you how to open up the skin

Hi arcane,Thanks for the compliment.To open the models, go download the HL Model Viewer. Then, open the red1.mdl and choose the "Texture" Tab. Choose the helmet texture and click the "Export" button to save it as a bitmap file (bmp). Edit the bitmap, save the file and then click the "Import" button. Choose the modified bmp file and click "Save Model".Thats pretty much it. I tried working on colored helmets, but it took me quite a while to get the red team's helmets changed. They looked OK, but I was still not satisfied, so I didn't bother doing blue's helmets. If you get something done, I'd like to see it :(B-Cell

btw they are not allowed for any league play and will get u banned.

for the red team....i would go for a little more darker red, same with the blue

That's all great, absolutely great! I'll be able to take care of it now, shouldn't be too big a problem. BTW I don't plan on playing FA in any leagues since my clan "<tC> theClan, tcnation.tk" doesn't currently have an FA team going. We only compete in TFC UGC 5v5. I'm the only tC who plays anything besides TFC/CS/DoD.

any ta or ta trial member that has a colored vest or colored helm should remove it before cal starts i suggest going to their website and seing which are not allowed and use of these models WILL get u banned and possibly get ta removed from play.

Shadow I allready did I just put the default models and and sprites back in and I only changed like three of the models to something I knew were legal.I cant see the pictures on the page do I need to change a internet explorer option?

if you like b-cells models then youd probbly like these models too, theyre by average sniper... i like to call em deer_hunter_2003 FA models
