Could hav ebeen Hogan.

I don't think so and even if it was Hogan he wouldn't remember or what he did to solve it because of his bad memory.

Have you defragged your HD?

Have you run a checkdisc or scandisk?

How much HD space do you have left?

How many processes do you have running on your computer?

Are you running antivirus and antispyware?

  • Author

Yes i have defraged my HDD

No will checkdisc now..

I have 13.6GB space left

Currently i have 31 processes running

yes i am using antivirus AVG...

31 is a good low number. I like high 20's myself but 31 is ok right after a boot.

Try turning off the antivirus and any antispyware.

Then do an install.

If that does not work.

Run this. This is one of the best availible that does it all.

Kaspersky online scanner http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus

Delete your Temporay internet files.

Rescan and post here.

Also download "hijackthis". google it.

Run it and check off anything you see similar there that Kasper fopund. Fix it with hijackthis.

Post your hijackthis report too.

Will "hijackthis" detect adware and spyware like the free "Spybot" and "Spyblaster" ?

Should he consider reliable protection to prevent more ?

even with your game running with this you still have problems. says you have 12 virus's and 15 infected objects. if you need help removing them I'll help you look into it. there are some free removal tools out there maytbe we can get them to work... if not you may need to do what mac said in the first place and to blow everything away and start over...
