January 12, 200620 yr Have you defragged your HD? Have you run a checkdisc or scandisk? How much HD space do you have left? How many processes do you have running on your computer? Are you running antivirus and antispyware?
January 12, 200620 yr Author Yes i have defraged my HDD No will checkdisc now.. I have 13.6GB space left Currently i have 31 processes running yes i am using antivirus AVG...
January 12, 200620 yr 31 is a good low number. I like high 20's myself but 31 is ok right after a boot. Try turning off the antivirus and any antispyware. Then do an install. If that does not work. Run this. This is one of the best availible that does it all. Kaspersky online scanner http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus It is only a scanner and will not fix/quarrantine what it finds. Tell me what it finds.
