Sharp, I think you should do a virus scan on your system. You could not install BF2CC as well, so you may need to reload the OS.

First thing I noticed is they smoothed the fonts. I think you can adjust the fonts to one of your choice, or leave the default.

At first view, I was not impressed. I was expecting a lot more out of them. :peace: Maybe there is more and I have not explored enough (no pun intended)

u have to disable ur firewall for it to work

If your running an internal network it should be anyway.

  • Tab browsing - competing with Foxfire - love it in foxfire.
  • Phishing protection - haven't tested yet looks interesting.
  • Spiffy GUI enhancement - not a really to exciting but nice.
  • RSS feeds - I will be using more - love them.

To subscribe to a web feed - as described by IE help (sorry I could not add the icons).

Go to the webpage that has the web feed you want to subscribe.

Click the Feeds button to discover feeds on the webpage.

Click a feed (if more than one is available). If only one feed is available, you will go directly to that page.

Click Add/Subscribe.

In the Subscribe to Feed dialog box, type a name for the feed and select the folder to create the feed in.

Click Add.

To view your subscribed web feeds, click the Favorites button, and then click the View Feeds button.

MS IE team fell behind in development. I think this is really more a "catch up" release to stay competative. Their the 500lb gorilla in the space a little worried by Foxfire and others.

What is an RSS feed? I tried to look it up on google but I was unable to extrapolate what it is exactly. Could someone please inform as I will be downloading it soon.
Can you still use IE6 or no. I'm doubting it, but wanted to check..

Yes you can still use IE6, this is only a beta version of 7. Oh and by the way damn Microsoft for having to validate my OS install. so im not gonna be able to see IE7. :peace:
