March 13, 200620 yr It might take a lot of convincing for me to buy special forces. Tonight was the first time I played since the new patch came out and it wasn't all that great. I hope they are working on a new patch and are taking baby steps instead of trying to fix a thousand things at once. As for tonight though, I shouldn't have even bothered with it. I fired 3 AT-rockets through the top of a tank and another 2-3 through the a humvee. As far as I know, there are no holes in either of them. Then there is the whole stuttering thing when you go from prone to standing+sprinting. I know gator says that is their fix to bunny hopping, but to me it is just bad coding and everything else that goes along with it. I know a lot of you are playing SF right now and i'm stuck with BF2 regular, and I wish I could be in there with you all. In all honestly, with K2, they have not won my confidence enough for me to go and spend another $30 more on an expansion pack. Granted I wouldn't mind having the close,fast pace action like FA or the unlocks. I still don't see it worth it. I might break down and buy it sooner or later because I almost bought it last night. lol..... As for now, I hope EA/DICE take baby steps to fixing this game instead of screwing us over.I haven't heard from K2 or anyone else that couldn't play it and can now after the patch. I wouldn't mind upgrading my computer, but even that kind of scares me. Will the game work after I upgrade??? That shouldn't even be a question at all. So untill the next patch, maybe sooner depends if I break down, I don't think I will be getting SF.
March 13, 200620 yr awww, well you'll be missing out in alot of fun phrogg. SF is alot of fun. there are some bugs but not much to ruin the fun in SF. It's also alot more team play oriented.
March 13, 200620 yr That not being able to get up after prone really sucks. I mean getting up a little slower might be ok but not getting up then prone again because you think you didnt get up but you did then all of a sudden you are prone again and a nade lands on your chin. SF is FUNNNNNNNN! Get it! No no wait then it might not be as fun because you will be killing me there ad nauseum dammit. Check out that Latin huh. :peace:

March 13, 200620 yr TigerHawk and I have it. New maps. Less big. Nightime ones oddly get way less fps then day maps. Maybe that why TAC trying just day ones for now. If you're tired of BF2 I doubt it will change your mind much. But, a change is as good as a rest, for awhile. In our too old 2 pcs, that barely manage decent fps in bf2, SF can get laggier in night maps. We tried it hoping the smaller maps and night stuff would be less demanding of our pcs. It was opposite in night maps. Day maps are okay for us. To us it was more of the same with refreshing new maps though. Your choice. :peace:

Ya, I know , but after playing so long like the way I had it set up then having to switch I use the wrong key still and end up getting killed.
March 13, 200620 yr I like the game, and I felt the $30 was worth it. But thats only my opinion. I think you would enjoy the game, but maybe you wouldn't. At least its not Navy Field or WoW ...lol those games would make me want to quit gaming all together. :peace:
March 13, 200620 yr since i havent tried sf since the patches i can only assume they fixed the black areas with night vision on...that was my only problem with sf its fun and a lot more tactical than straight shoot em up action like reg bf2..worth 30 dollars i think
March 13, 200620 yr Nothing wrong with NF or WOW. NF has rekindled my love of gaming. So far though EA and SD Enternet seem to be sister companies when it comes to patches. Listen to the public and screw up the patch. Sound familiar? What would make BF2 sooo much better would be to have a Menu system like FA did and pick what you want to carry. No armor. Die faster but carry more. Heavy Armor. Carry less but take more damage. I would love to be able to mix it up and have that happen in BF2. It would make the game SOOO much more interesting. With all the different guns. It would be fun to mix and match.
