I decided to post this here to get more exposure:

I get tremendous ping spikes and rubber-banding on the TAC SF server. Its pretty constant, and it is driving me nuts. I have a connection to a DS 3 at school, and I have tried both T1 and Cable/DSL connections within BF2. I have tried killing tasks, defragging, and I'll try turning off the Windows firewall, but Im not sure that will help. Our school has some sort of crazy firewall, but it has never hindered BF2 in the past. Is there some other kind of port issue maybe? I don't know, it only seems to be the TAC server and it's making me a sad panda : ( Please help.

I'm not sure if this was effecting it, but most of the time our regular bf2 server had a lot of people in it. Could of been causing stress on the server.

Typically I have Vent running, yes, but last night all the servers had huge pings and vent was not on.
