I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaally excited for this game, but I'll have to wait and see if my computer is up for the challenge (I can barely run BF2) before I get it. I like the futuristic concept :D

Im going to put this bluntly about BF2142: nice attempt at trying to steal attention away from Quake Wars. Too bad your reputation is :p

With the quality of bf2 still as crap I highly doubt a new 'game' made by the same people that added over 80 new bugs in a 2mb patch will be anywhere near decent. Lets not forget the potential of NOT fixing the game but making MANY MANY expansions because we have other divisions of our software company around the world. :)

So this is what Im doing: Im going to wait till this game comes out and play the game. Not the demo, oh no not falling for that again. The bf2 demo ran great but the game is still crap. Im going to 'test' out the full version of bf2142 when it comes out. Once I see the game is still a disaster but just newer models and maps with clunky software programming, I will delete it and go do something better with my time.

i might get it depends on how much money i have with 4 years of school comming up.

I have to buy it. My 4 year old fell in love with it when he saw the video. Not to mention I already need another fast computer so he can play with me.

The kid is good for four years old.

So . . . 59% are either on the fence or dead-set against.

Not a glowing endorsement. Personally, I don't want to give DiCE another dime. :D

I'm hopeful the folks at ID/ActiVision/Trauma Studios turn out a kick-ass Quake Wars. Objective mode 4 teh win! :D

BF2142 is starting to look good. Too bad it will most likely be incredibly buggy. :D

Oh well. Quake Wars, Crysis, UT2k7. Its all that matters. If 2142 is good, thats just a bonus.

I'm not sure yet. I was on a server and instead of a sig, they had say no to buying 2142 until EA fixes BF2. They kind of have a point there. It would be nice if they fixed all the bugs before they tried to sell me another game. But, we all know that will never happen. I think i'll wait and see.
