Hello homies. :D

Well, I have been hitting the arcade games, and I LOVE them. But, I am getting a bit bored. How does one get to play Battlefield2? What do I need to buy or 'gain access to' ? :D

Thank you, in advance, for any help on this.

Okay. Here's what you do. You run out to your local Best Buy or Wal-Mart or anywhere that sells computer games. Find Battlefield 2 and go ahead and buy that. Unfortunately without a unique cd key, there's no "gaining access" to BF2. Most of the Armory guys have taken a liking to the expansion "Special Forces" as well. That can be downloaded direct from EA and I believe you can buy it as well.

Here's a list of the system requirements your computer should match or surpass (as listed in the readme):

CPU

Battlefield 2 supports the following processors:

Intel Pentium 4

Intel Xeon

Intel Pentium Extreme Edition

Intel Celeron D

AMD Athlon XP

AMD Athlon 64

AMD Athlon 64-FX

AMD Sempron processor

Minimum Specification:

CPU: 1.7 Ghz

RAM: 512 Mb

Video Card: NVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500

with 128 Mb of RAM

Recommended Specification:

CPU: 2.4 Ghz

RAM: 1 Gb

Video Card with at least 256 Mb of RAM

Video Cards

Battlefield 2 only supports the following video cards:

Radeon X700 (PCIe)

Radeon X600 (PCIe)

GeForce 6600 (PCIe)

GeForce PCX 5900 (PCIe)

GeForce 5800 Series (AGP)

ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition

ATI Radeon X800 PRO

ATI Radeon 9800 Series

ATI Radeon 9600 Series

ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350LX)

NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Series

NVidia GeForce FX 5900 Series

Hard Drive Space

To install Battlefield 2 you will need approximately 2.3 GB free

hard disk space, plus space for saved games. Additional space is

required for DirectX 9 installation.

In addition to the installed game, Windows will require additional

free hard drive space for its operating system (virtual memory).

If you encounter the following message in an error dialog:

"Ran out of virtual memory"

Free up some more hard drive space.

Improving Gameplay Performance

Thank you, in advance, for any help on this.

Give us the specs on your system, and we can go from there. Battlefiled 2 costs about $50 or less, and we play an add-on pack called Special Forces (BF2 needed though) that costs about $30 or less. :D

buy them, install bf2, install special forces, update them with the full patch, then find a favorite gun and go find and kill flip... rofl

Actually Impact should be number 1 on your list to kill. ALWAYS kill Impact, or else he will blow you up. :D

I am far from giving up TigerHawk. I made it into a few top tens, that satisfied me for the time being. I just need a deeper thrill. Arcades are cool for killing time, but I need to feed 'da inner beast, ya know? Something to dig my fangs into. :p
