Get rid of those irritating BF2 movies

Featured Replies

I deleted my last post regarding this issue, because the instructions were for an older version of BF2 and did not work wiith the last patch. JPennStar pointed out the best way to get rid of the intro movies was to delete the movies themselves.

I've attached a pic that shows you where to go and what to delete. As you can see, I left two of the movies there because they provide the background movie for the menus, and it looked stupid withoput them.

Note: you will need to go to

Regular BF2 go here and delete the movies as shown in the attachment:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies

Special Forces go here and delete ALL of the movies:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\xpack\movies

Last post with the "rem" toward the name of the files who does loaded and executed not works and type in the game that my "files" differ from the original dvd for me?

But when I rename the file "intro.bik" in "intro.bck", all work good...

And now, I renamed all the .bik files in .bck files except the both files that Gator mentionned above: look at my picture...

Egidio.

Don't use the "rem".. That was a mistake. Just use what I said above. :)
