May 25, 200619 yr Not sure if anyone noticed this or if its just me. I was playing singleplayer mode as a sniper and I witnessed what seemed to be impossible... I saw an Engineer remove an enemy claymore with a wrench! I set a clay. Moments later the Computer saw it, turned back and sort of wiggled behind it with out setting it off, then he pulled out his wrench and worked on it untill it dissapeared like a mine! I'm stumped..... After hearing about multiple teamkills and accidental deaths while trying to manuver around clay's, the only sense I can make out of it is that they are: 1. now tripped by running infront of them instead of running over them like before 2. the clay has a dead zone behind it allowing for it to be defused.... I'm not sure if this is just a fluke so i'm going to go try it a couple more times..... i'll report back any new findings.
May 25, 200619 yr They were always tripped by running in front of them not over them. They could kill you from about 20 feet away just passing by.

May 26, 200619 yr what does this mean? Please also note that if you are experiencing CTD issues upon start up that any alternate-ranking redirections in your windows "Hosts" file must be removed. I ask because I've had several ctd's since the patch. I've updated my vid drivers tonight and still had 1 ctd.

May 26, 200619 yr ctd = crash to desktop DOH !! Thanks. Mostly only TigerHawk gets those with her N6600. I suspect nay be due to various old nvidia stuff still showing in add/remove list that does not give option of repair or removal or anything. Yet there are other same links there that are removable. So same name suggests to me a mess up in registry and with driver files and dll's. But I don't feel like nuking it all yet. Maybe should and revert to basic vga drivers, reboot, delete all nvidia folders, etc ... but i suspect she may need an advanced nvidia driver cleaner first... maybe in time.

No I don't, my problem is sometimes the game doesn't load I just get a black screen then the monitor goes out then I have to restart the pc. You got the CTD. I've never had that happen, not yet anyways
