June 17, 200619 yr i've been having the same problems as some of you guys i want to test out Slaughter before we play it together i go Community > Custom Game > Slaughter + Activate = Restart BF2 > Singleplayer + select the map = crash to desktop am i going about this the wrong way or doing the wrong process? this is the first mod i've used for bf2 so I'm not sure how exactly to go about running them

June 17, 200619 yr Author Single player should work.. I play it by using a short cut with this setup. Just copy and paste into a shortcut target bar and you're all set ("" are included) "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/Slaughter
June 17, 200619 yr Author I'm just going to let everyone know... YOU WILL DIE ALOT!!! hence the name slaughter... but the whole point of this mod is to have fun and watch the bodies fly. The real point of this mod is not only to have "Super Crazy" weapons, but to learn how to control friendly fire, and How to pick you're shots wisely. I've been using this mod for single player practice for about a month now... and my game has improved dramaticly. :warning: Also I would not reccomend placing 100+ c4 in the EXACT SAME SPOT.... we wouldnt want the server crashing or anything now would we! rofl. but seriously. C4 damage has been decreased, The blast force has been increased and so has the commander asset health in order to compansate for the amout of c4 we will be seeing. c4 throwing is part of the game in this mod (normal toss distance has been greatly increased). What I would reccomend is copying all of you're regular BF2 maps into the mods' level folder (for single player purposes you can add EF or AF maps to slaughter for extreme gameplay) BUT PLEASE NOTE * The new weapons that you get in this mod only function with the US and CHINA forces!!! The New kits can be picked up by MEC Forces ONLY by killing and switching kits. :banana: Target paths are as follows: BF2 map folder: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels Slaughter Map folder: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\Slaughter\Levels
