June 13, 200619 yr Dunno if this has been posted before. There is a way to skip the intro movies for BF2. If you don't have shortcut for BF2 on your desktop, create one. Then right-click and select properties. On Target field: add +restart at the end of line. Example: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart. Hope this helps. Found it at the BF2 article on TweekGuides.
June 13, 200619 yr Another way you can do this is go into the game file and rename all the movies except the menu and menu_logged in ones, dont delete the others, just rename them incase it doesn't work for whatever reason
June 13, 200619 yr Author If you use X-Fire to join and want to skip the intro movies, go to Tools and select Options. Then go to the Games tab and select Battlefield 2. Click Advanced Options and on the Extra Command Line Parameters, type +restart. You will now skip through the intro movies when you join via X-Fire.
June 13, 200619 yr Thanks for useful info. It could help some from renaming files that should not be.

March 17, 200818 yr this however, causes problems alt+tabbing with some people.. so if you cant alt+tab after this, remove the command line.
