[INFO] How to Skip intro movies

Featured Replies

Dunno if this has been posted before. There is a way to skip the intro movies for BF2. If you don't have shortcut for BF2 on your desktop, create one. Then right-click and select properties. On Target field: add +restart at the end of line. Example: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart. Hope this helps. Found it at the BF2 article on TweekGuides.
Another way you can do this is go into the game file and rename all the movies except the menu and menu_logged in ones, dont delete the others, just rename them incase it doesn't work for whatever reason

If you use X-Fire to join and want to skip the intro movies, go to Tools and select Options. Then go to the Games tab and select Battlefield 2. Click Advanced Options and on the Extra Command Line Parameters, type +restart. You will now skip through the intro movies when you join via X-Fire.

does this apply also for bf2142?

Ok kiddies, please keep it current or at least to the last 2 months or so. Search the forums before posting, and if you can't find what you're looking for, make a new thread and we'll be glad to either point you the right direction or answer your questions.

this however, causes problems alt+tabbing with some people..

so if you cant alt+tab after this, remove the command line.
