Get over it and stop bashing the other teams. perhaps you need to pay a little more attention to what you read, read the thread title its not about the teams its about the officials..so before you start accusing me of bashing every other team think about what you read first...i dont bash every other team, just the ones that like to fall alot and whine about fake fouls not once did i bash any other team just for the fact they aren't england....forgive me for being proud of my nationality

It annoys me when people think up excuses for why their team lost (although portugal doesnt really fit any of them) anyway, sorry for lashing out, but please try to think about some of the stuff you say. nobody is taking dives just to win the games, nobody is paying the referees, and the Italian team is just like all the others. now lets end this before the thread gets out of hand

July 3, 200619 yr Author Yes I agree Smash. It is the worst cup for this imho. I play soccer still at age 41 and have since I was 6 years old. It is a disgrace for the world to see such unprofessionalism on both sides of the ball. Players and Ref's. However. The refs were sort of instructed by FIFA to be more diligent with their calls. The players are acting like they just got shot by a .44 magnum at close range. Yes stuff hurts. I tore my ACL in both knees playing soccer. Sure it hurts but these guys act like 6year olds getting a bee sting when they get a slight brush against their skin from an opposing player. Embelishment. Yes. Told to do it. Yes. Fair. No.
