July 11, 200619 yr i dont know what all this j10 hax you guys are talking about dingz0rs as long as the pilot keeps him locked the missile will hit...pure and simple best way to take down a j10 is sneak up on them with your bomber sights and let the machine gun do the work...because any competant j10 pilot will outmanuver you any day of the week I feel the OP's pain. Of my 700+ hours, 95% of it is on the ground. I've recently taken up flying and gotten my aviator K/D ratio up from .5 to 2.4. The J-10 is DEFINITELY the superior jet in the game and the USMC F35 is the worst jet in the game. Air to Air missles will track the F35B regardless of what it does to try to shake them. The J-10 on the other hand can shake missles AND it takes less damage than the other jets. A2A missles have even been known to bounce off the J-10s. In the TotalBF2 forums, there's a nice jet comparison that shows, among other things, the "hit boxes" of each jet. The hit box on the back of the F35 is HUGE...the hit box on the J-10 is small. On surface to air sites, it's best to not get into the site until after the a jet has gone by. Trying to shoot a jet bearing down on you will almost always result in your death. From a pilot's perspective, I'm flying around in bomb mode looking for the green triangles that identify enemy vehicles and manned AA sites. If I don't see the green triangle, I probably won't drop bombs.
July 16, 200619 yr well snc next time you are in a j10 or chasing a j10, watch carefully how some of the missiles just randomly go off course just before impact. Same crap happens when the euro fighter as well. The cobra's gun is poo, but it is the easiest of the choppers for the pilot to like up the tv missile.
