Does anyone know yet if FA is going to be made for HL2? It is a question that is going to bug me until i find an answer, so any rumors are welcome, just wanting to hear somethin about it, thought id ask around. So, if youve heard anythin about it, please post it in here.

I have heard the same thing over and over again, NO there wont be a FA fore HL2, FA is gona stay with HL1. I beleave them. But i hope there will be a "Arms that fire"(maybe the new name?) mod fore HL2.

Actually, I was talking to Mazor on another server while we were playing sometime last week I think and he was saying that there are considering making FA for HL 2 or at least something similar.

u really have to wait awhile before anything can ever be known. this game took awhile to come out and it was about 2 years old before FA came out, so, in my opinion, dont ever bring this up anywhere else for a long time

i heard that HL2 dev pack WILL be released be 4 HL2 for the modding community. so im pretty shure we'll c FA for HL2. bad-a.

there probably wont be an fa 2 for hl2 valve has decided to port over only the really large mods with the large player base such as dod and counterphincter. They will not be porting fa over on the hl2 engine. However there is POSSIBILITY (and i say this in bold because it probably won't happen) that the fa programmers may use the modding tools and make something like fa for hl2. Face it gentlemen we are a dying breed. Even if fa survives the hl2 frenzy i predict that are players base if it is at all possible will get smaller. Sorry guys but we are all gonna have to face facts. Mazor said that hes interested in a fa2 however the valve team wasn't sooo they will have to do something on their own for hl2 and even if they did it would take 2 to 3 years to set the foundation. Thats long enough for the original fa to lose its player base to other mods. Could u play the same mod without updates or changes for 2 years no i don't think so. Imagine living with the helm bug for 2 years *shudder* or something of that magnitude. No we will definitly lose our player base and it makes me sad.

i just really dont think that FA is going to come out to HL2 for a LONG TIME. it took awhile to get to the 1st and now just keep that in mindps. - how do u put in images in the forums?

btw Shadowstalker, the fa community is a dying breed, but TA is not...it's already been discussed (I'm guessing) and the most likely thing is that if FA bites the dust, than TA will port over to another mod (correct me if I'm wrong Gator/Mac/Some1 will equal amount of power *manical laughter*)

As long as FA has breath. We will supply the air for it.If the server is still frequented by people with interest . We will still be here.HL2 will not effect the multiplayer community for a while.
