What about weapon and armor selection?

As far as Jpenn comment about Graphics and Performance, I have a largely different position on this issue as I have a system that where any kind of graphical upgrade is noticeable as I have a 3 year old system. So, because of this you probibly wont see much of me in 2142 untill I upgrade so I'm not sure I will be getting this game when its released... :thumbsup: I do like the varity of weapons and the game play is pretty good from what I could make out through all the video lag.

So should TigerHawk and I bother trying it with curent viewable pcs ?

Does it support 1280x1024? It wasn't in the display option for me. :thumbsup:

 

I like BF2 hit detection a lo more then that damn red circle.

 

I will give it another try so someone can kind of walk me through it a bit. I really had no idea what the hell was happening.

You forgot to mention the "Buddy System", but very nice review JPennStar. :thumbsup:

 

The game feels a little awkward at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a blast. Remember, there are plenty more maps and the "Conquest" mode we have not yet experienced.

You have a choice of full Armor or none. You can build your soldier kit with different weapons and equipment, but you must earn them first as unlocks. Promotions are many and fast, so you will have a nice arsenal to chose from before you know it.

I think its awesome so far, they should definitley try to release a patch to fix the random explosions on the titan though. Don't want that happening for another 11 dayss.

I got 3 promotions in 2 rounds last night. Not bad for a "D" player

When ever I go into the Titan, all I see is total darkness. I can see the doors and names of other players, thats it. Does anyone else have this problem?

I know what you mean as soon as i enter any titan it goes dark for a bit then i can see again.

GUNS NEED TO BE MORE POWERFUL! Using an entire clip to mow a guy down whos only steps away from you is super lame!

I wouldn't say more powerful. Definately more accurate though.

 

It doesn't go light for me again. It just stays completely dark.
