Anyone else tired of playing for half an hour and getting 12 points. Spend most of your time running from point to point LOL? EA should have left the point system like it is until you reach a certain rank where it takes more to rank up ( like 300 or 500 points ) then at that point make it 2 pts. for a kill and defib. These crappy run around for 30 minutes to get crap all for points is getting annoying. Yes I am capping and not just trying to kill people and yes I am giving squad leader orders. Maybe I just need to get more used to the game.

3Hours and 2 Minutes played and 440 points and ONLY HAVE 2 UNLOCKS thanks to the marvelous stats tracking system. SO meanwhile eveyone else is sprinting like Carl Lewis and I am running like a 70 year old.

well i spent 3 days to just play the game and since i've been able to, i've played less than 30 mins. cuz my life is crazy right now.But in that 30 mins i got 4 dogtags and pop'ed off many heads with the sniper rifle.i like 2142 so far.As far as unlocks and ranks i could care less.But i got way more than 12 points for the 2 maps i played

ask jpenn, he was tearing it up last night. I'm getting like 25 points per game, don't know what else to do.

Haha that's my problem I don't concentrate at all. Oh well, whatta ya gonna do.

I don't get it either. I struggle to break 20 points. I'm not the most skilled player, but really now. I try and stick near a squad leader, head to defend/attack whatever section is targetted...etc etc. I heal, I carry ammo... and rarely EVER get points for that?!

 

Ah well, I just enjoy shooting crap anyways.

Um... I'm not skilled but BF2142 is much more Veichle orentated so unless its a small map I mainy use tanks, APC, and ALL the vechiles that are aviable (including helos) and I nomaly get 15-40 points and 2-16 deaths deaths on conquest and for titan I would nto know x_X

Also, just leave med boxs or Ammo boxes where MANY people go because it will stay their for a LOGE time so I will place one and 20 mins later I'm still getting healing point x_X

Depends on the round I guess. One round I'll score 20 to 30 points because I'll have good support doing what I do, and other days I'm lucky to get 5.

 

One day I scored all 12 points in the course of 10 minutes just helping Jpenn and the rest of the squad defend a point in my walker. Had a great gunner up top, 2 engies keeping me repaired, and a commander giving me drops. We were just racking up the points holding a choke point....

 

Guess you just get those "ON" times that make up for all the "DOG" times.

Remember you get more points working as a squad, where the squad leader gives orders and the squads follow those orders. Running off on your own might get you some kills, but working as a team will get you points.

Yea, i don't seem to get much from the score. But the squad leader points and points from pins/ribbons really start to add up.

lol, I normaly am the squad leader and everyone else spawns by me and togetehr we just work ouyrselfs around the map taking points =P (or defending them)

Another good way is on titan.... after both shields are down adn the titans are decently close just switch rapiding between ALL the the titan guns and kill both ground and AIR units.... it works very well after you memorsie the F keys x_X

I have it, it's good, but I still get slaughtered by the assault gun most of the time. The most useful unlock for me (so far) is the sentry gun. Gator had an "upclose and personal" run in with my little pet...

Yea I got the sentry gun earlier as a field upgrade, im most likely going to unlock it next. After the machine gun I wanted to get that sniper unlock, the left branch.

Its not taking me very long. I already have 2043 points. About 1000 points per sitting now.

 

I am annoyed though at how long it takes for the unlocks to come because I could've used my two I am owed last night.

I'm with JPenn. I am at around 1850 points and don't seem to have that much of a problem getting them.

I dont mind the game, It takes some getting used to though thats for sure

If your going sniper... Dont go left... all it is a slow sinper with 85 damg... over the right side with is basicaly a support gun without the 100 ammo per clip.... and withut the radius aiming.

 

PS: just food for though.

U will be ahead because you can find out from us what not to Unlock. Like don't bother with Engineer tree for the left side. That rocket launcher IMHO sucks bad. Maybe I suck bad but hey that's my thought.

Get sprint for sure and grenades first then go for more specializing because you will go insane running at a slow pace for 100 miles per map.
