October 25, 200619 yr Author Wow! thats bad! 1 things for sure, they dont build trucks like they used too. Man sorry TFD for the pain seeing your truck in that condition. look on the bright side though, I knifed you and I have your dog tags. Yea, but you know, I should have had ya.. I hit you with almost half a clip, and your bunny hoppin' a** still got me... That is fixable, its really not that bad considering. Truck/Cars these days are designed to crush like that to absorb the impact so it puts less strain on the occupants. it seems the front end is a lot softer then the rear. It will be OK bud, I've done it twice if it makes you feel any better....lol It was a long time ago but I totaled a 1992 S-10 and then almost totaled a 1994 S-10. I don't drive pick-ups much any more, for my safety and those around me...lol! And that color is easy to match, my altima is the same color and it had some rock damage on the hood when I bought it and they repaired and repainted the hood, and after 2 years you still can't tell it was repainted. Keep you chin up! Make sure they use genuine Dodge parts! If not the aftermarket body parts rust a lot faster. This is the second accident in 7 months for this truck, got side swiped (nearly a head on one). It's my baby to, so it just kind of stinks.. Got a buddy for a body man, and he's the master at paint matching, so I'm not worried there, and of course, it will be all Dodge parts, I wouldn't let it be any other way... Holy Smushed Truck Batman, Like they all said cars, can be replaced, people can't so it's all good in the end. And this pic goes to show you how much stronger a truck is than a car(Was yours weather related?), mines from a Deer. No, it was not weather related, unfortunately, it was "me not paying enough attention" related.. TFD
