I am seeing a lot of PB kicks for duplicate/invalid CD keys. This could be the solution.

I take it this only applies to people who used the downloader?

I have a EA Link question now. I will be getting a new PC very soon and I am wondering how do I download 2142 onto it? It is in my list for download now but it says installed. If I put EA Link on my new pc and sign in will it show it as purchased and for download or what?

Don't feel bad. I just downloaded the new EA Link and it say my account does not exist. I have sent them a support ticket.

Yes, if you log in to the EA link on the new machine with the same account you purchased 2142 with on the old, then it should show as "ready for Download" on the new.

Just for grins Klink I installed the downloader on my laptop and am able to download the game, it said it was ready to download.

 

I think it works more like steam.

Yes, you can load as many intances of the game as you like, and on as many PC's as you like, but you can only play on one of them at a time.

Thanks guys. I think there is a limit of 10 PC's though.
