August 1, 200322 yr Well, it seems that I do the spray thing right, but whenever I try to spray ingame it seems to switch back to the default spray... I don't mess with the customize menu or anything. It worked perfectly fine on the previous versions, but my pldecal.wad file doesn't want to cooperate or something...Could it have to do something with my config file? If so, what variable would I need to change? Any help is greatly appreciated...
August 1, 200322 yr Author Actually, it only messes up on the first spray... nevermind... but also, my voice transmit volume keeps getting lowered and I have to go back to the customize menu to raise it up. Then I have to replace the pldecal.wad file and doing that constantly is becoming a pain... Is there a console command or variable in the config file for voice volume? Again, any help is appreciated...
August 1, 200322 yr in the "config.cfg" files i have this :volume "1.000000"suitvolume "0.250000"hisound "1.000000"bgmvolume "1.000000"MP3Volume "0.800000"_snd_mixahead "0.1"But check your cables micro & headphone... Make a ratation of the jacks : may be a little bit disconnected ?Egidio.
August 11, 200322 yr Author well, actually I turn it up before I connect, but ingame the volume seems to go lower at some point. I'm not sure what's causing it to get lowered. It's annoying because I can't raise it while in the middle of a game without reconnecting; something I don't want to have to do while in a scrim or match...I also know it's not a prob with my microphone because I've tested it on the voicetweak application that comes with HL and it works just fine... It might be something with the HL software... it may be some auto-config file nonsense, but I've never made one of those. It could be when I use stopsound in console or whenever there is a radio command that is issued, but all that's just speculation.

If so (which is the only problem/solution -I- can think of!), your config.cfg file is probably what's making it lower like that. Fix your voice volume and sound volume in the config.cfg file, and you'll be good to go. If that doesn't work (please try it first, the next suggestion take a LOT of my time and brain!), I can write a script for you that'll let you fix it ingame.
August 11, 200322 yr Author Well, I'm ignorant and have no clue what "WWCL" is...please let me know what that is when you can.On my config everything is set properly. I put the sound the way I wanted it, then saved my config file to another location as a backup...I played earlier today and my voice transmit didn't go down, YAY!!!

I played earlier today and my voice transmit didn't go down, YAY!!! on some servers, about 2 minutes after you join, you involuntarily world-speak: "CONFIG CHECK COMPLETE. SUCCESS. WWCL PLUG IN <website>", or something similar. it's an anti-cheat pluging. it affects your settings, puts them back to your config.cfg properties.
August 12, 200322 yr Author OH OK... I know what you're talking about. The DW N.A. server has that... that might be it, I play there every once in a while...
