Posted December 12, 200618 yr This past Saturday evening my Dad had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital and almost died. They had to take him to London, Ontario for tests (on machines that here in thunder bay doesn't have) to see if he needs an operation. My mom is there with my Dad and I talked to her yesterday and my dad is doing good. Today they were going to be running some tests I hope everything will go smoothly. And I hope my dad/mom get to come home soon. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.
December 12, 200618 yr ouch that sucks, hope everything goes well for you and your family and I will have them in my thoughts.

December 13, 200618 yr Author Thanks guys for the kind words. I just phoned my dads room in London and he was doing better, his blood pressure is back to normal, and he told me that he was walking around, and wasn't feeling light headed, which is a good sign. I'm happy to hear him speaking ok, and laughing. He just doesn't know when he'll be coming home, he said maybe Friday or Saturday. He has to wait for the test results to see what is what.
December 13, 200618 yr Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. Will do... all the best wishes for you and yours...

December 13, 200618 yr My thoughts and prayers are with you and you family. With modern medicine, you dad will be ok.
December 13, 200618 yr Heart Attacks suck because people don't die straight away from them. I don't wanna depress / worry you Laura, as im sure your father will be fine, but when my grandfather had a heart-attack a few years ago, i hated the fact that we had to wait on the news, which was ultimately very bad. It may seem wrong, but id rather he had died straight away, than hanging on in pain for measly few more days.
