Although to be honest, im not really "in" TAC, i just seem to hang around alot.

TAC is the first clan I belonged too. and through out all the clans I met, I consider TAC to be the best IMO. We have great people here which I consider friends and our server is top notch. The other community which I have respect for is VSF. They have alot of friendly down to earth people. A recent clan I've met are the SDN which I only met a few, but so far seem like a bunch of nice people.

 

Alot of others are ok, but nothing like it is here.

it's good to know where your fellow community members came from and feel about this subject.

[TA] was the first clan I ever joined. I honestly wasn't even looking to join a clan then, I had just started playing Firearms 2.65 and found a server that was regularly full, most people there were friendly, and actively kept the "jerks" from ruining the game.

[i*N] was cool when I ran it - had about 30-40 guys....

 

TAC had the best servers which sparked my interest. Klink and Gator were fun to frag too with the M82! - priceless....

Been in 2 clans and countless guilds.

 

I started my gaming community days in a Total Annihilation clan called the "Assembly Of Generals" [AOG]. There were only 5 of us, and i was the only American as the rest were Aussies. (Let's here it for late night gaming on the west coast! RAWR!) Good folks. We were allied with the LORD clan, which was where I met LORD ORION who to this day is my best online bud.

 

I never had much user for shooter clans. Most of them seemed like a bunch of elitist jerks and I wanted nothing to do with them.

 

The guilds for the various RP games I've played were numourous, played about 2 dozen different guilds... all flaws.

 

The Armory is the only Clan I really had an interest in joining after playing on their Firearms server for about 2 months. Real class act and friendly folks... and with a helluva lot more staying power than any other group I've been with.

 

So for me, I'm Armory 4evah!

Only been in 2 clans so far. Was in {CFM} Crazy F'in Mailmen I joined them in FA at rc2.4 we moved to Day of Defeat when 2.6 came out and everyone thought the Game (Firearms) was over with. 2.6 was just so different than RC2.4 and FA RC2.5 We thought they ruined the game. A few months go by well about 6 actually it was quite sometime after 2.65 came out almost around when 2.7 was released I started playing FA again and at that time there was only 1 server I found that was full almost all the time had as friendly a(n) environment that I was accustomed too and seemed to be moderated by a group of good people, The Armory. I also realized just now I've gone through alot of name changes over the years as well.

Armory for me. played in an americas army clan called the 101st airborne for a bit. but ive been in the armory for awhile. don't know how long but it has been a wild ride to say the least. [TA] for life

I have to say that in my history of gaming in FPS and MMO the same thing always happens to me.

 

I join a casual clan only to jump into a hardcore clan soon after.

 

I've been in some real good competition clans. These clans were filled with some of the best players the game had to offer.

 

One thing I notice about these kind of clans is the players really love the game. Its this love that keeps the players in the game more than any human should be in a game. The kind of people that load up in a server and drive car routes 50 times in a row till they get it right. The kind of people that watch recordings of matches as a clan and critique each other on how to improve their play. Its these kind of people that see the standard and then go above and beyond. These are the people/teams that are the best. I've been in a couple of those.

 

For MMO's its all about knowledge and persistance. Its about not giving up after failing a raid twice. I've been in guilds that raid all night day after day until raiding the mob was easy. People did research and found the secrets and used the tools to help them succeed.

 

Hopefully when the kids are out of the house, I'll have time to run a fine guild in the future.

I ran a Clann =FF= Then attempted multiple times to Join [TA] I think i eventually got in then left a week later for [DoL] before Manowar took over...Then i went to [*]Stars[*]one of the best clans ever...and Wellsy Alpha did not hack you just sucked then after that it was KTA that was fun until Killer Worm and DeadPeople took over they just killed it....Then Nutreliazed---Home Town team that was fun as hell...and now im just free lancing....

 

Best Clan Was [*]Stars [*]no doubt they had great leaders

[DoL], NsD, and TAC. I think out of all of them, my best experience was in DoL until I got into TAC. Oh, and let's hear it for the medic guild as well, my very FIRST community
